ACCREDITATION

Program Overview:
The joint providership of the University of Cincinnati and Focus Medical Communications, in collaboration with Chronic Liver Disease Foundation, Gi Health Foundation, and Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers, presents 5th Annual Music City GI & Liver Summit. This educational activity will improve clinicians’ competence in the screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic liver disease and gastrointestinal disorders through evidence-based education on current therapies and best practices.

Target Audience:
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians involved in the management of patients with CLD and GI disorders.​​

Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

• Describe current screening, diagnosis, and management options for patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders.

• Apply optimal treatment strategies for patients with CLD and GI disorders.

• Compare and contrast currently available treatment modalities for CLD and GI disorders.

​Accreditation:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Cincinnati and Focus Medical Communications. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

The University of Cincinnati designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Please note: Upon completing 3 separate evaluations for all sessions listed below, the maximum number of credit hours for the entire conference will amount to 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Breakdown of credit hours per session:

 

• “5th Annual Music City GI & Liver Summit”: maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™

• Symposium “Mastering MASH Management: A 4-Pillar Approach to Patient Care in 2026”: maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™

• Symposium “New and Emerging Anti-Cytokine Therapies in IBD”: maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™
